If you are a resident of Hengrove or Whitchurch, please join us for a Community Conversation for ‘One City Food Equality Action Plan’ - a Co-produced Action Plan created by Bristolians, Bristol City Council, Feeding Bristol and other key Stakeholders in the City.  

This conversation is hosted by Feeding Bristol, Lush Greens and Whitchurch and Hengrove Community Group.

According to the JSNA 24/25, 11-15% of households in the Hengrove and Whitchurch Park area have experienced moderate to severe food insecurity. This can mean not having enough nutritious or appropriate food, skipping meals, getting into debt to buy groceries, or worrying about not having enough to eat. 

Feeding Bristol would like to speak to Hengrove and Whitchurch residents about these experiences to ensure they are part of city-wide work happening to address food inequality. 

Light refreshments will be provided and you will be remunerated for your time (£20 per hour) and have the option to be paid in cash or voucher.

Community Forum Meeting - 7 pm Tuesday Nov 11th

The Whitchurch and Hengrove Community Group is hosting a community forum which all local residents are invited to attend. The Forum will hear a short presentation from Goram Homes updating residents on their current development plans in the area. Campaigners from Whitchurch Village will be attending to talk about the consultation on the local plan and how you can get involved, and your local councillors will be attending and answering questions.

The Forum is at Christ Church, Petherton Rd. Doors will open at 6.45 pm for a 7 pm start.
